In Lagos a couple of days ago, the chaplain of one Chapel of Christ the Light was removed, 24hours after the Governor’s wife stormed out of the church in anger. Trust Nigerians, they started ranting that he is a man of God, that the Governor is acting like Pharaoh and that he reverse the decision and many more. However, the chapel is being owned by the State Government. Implying that whoever is in the helm of the Government owns it, which in this case it happens to be Governor Ambode in person. This could be likened to a business owned by someone. The owner is the decision maker. Gov. Ambode is the decision maker of that organization. He has all powers to do whatever he sees fit. Since that is the case, so many people will not see it in such perspective, because he is a man of God, people are clouded by such ideology.
