Every human likes to think that every action taking is the right one. Double standards present in our society, makes such reasoning to be false. This double standards view cuts across various areas of human life.
Virginity
In women virginity is a treasure. If after scrutiny the woman is certified to be a virgin, then she is regarded as a queen and in some cases worshiped.  Well, if she is not a virgin, then questions are been asked which is likely followed by insults. For a man virginity is no big deal because no one is interested.
At work
If worker is been owed salary, the management encourages the staff to understand with them. Peradventure the worker goes late to work, the worker is warned or fined by management.
Helping the poor
Over the years there has been the talk of how the poor should be helped and for the gap between the rich and the poor to be closed. Leading these notions are the politicians, actors and actresses. However, these pioneers of this ideology spend a lot of money on parties, drinks, food and extravagant lifestyles.
Money
Money is said not to be everything. Everything in our life revolves around money, this spreads from the time of our been conceived to our been buried.
Relationship
When you are falling in love with a person, everything even the silly things about the person is awesome. In break up with that same person you fell in love with any action by that person is seen as manipulative.
One God
Most religions teach that there is one God. If you change (be it intra or inter) religion, that old religion who teach about one God gets offended.
Opposite Sex
Hanging out with a huge number of the opposite sex is seen as been promiscuous and irresponsible. Trying to keep the opposite sex at bay then you are seen as a lesbian or gay.
Topless
It is okay for a man to take of his shirt when out in places like beach, swimming pool and in social media photos. A woman taking off her shirt in such places is deemed inappropriate.
Children
A woman playing a lot with children is highly welcomed. If a man plays with children he is seen as a pedophile.
